At the initiative of the canton of Geneva, this feasibility study for the creation of a palliative residence is part of the more general "Geneva cantonal program for the development of palliative care 2020-2023".
This program has produced several reports, including one on the cantonal assessment of infrastructure needs. This latest report presents the current situation and estimates needs between now and 2040, taking into account demographic and epidemiological changes in the Geneva population.
In its conclusion, it proposes the creation of an 6-bed palliative residence on the right bank of the canton of Geneva.
This feasibility study was conducted and written by La Maison de Tara (La MdT), which called on the skills of experts in the field.
